We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar and restaurant.
Running a small team in a village pub.

12-11 Monday - Friday
12-12 Monday - Sat
12- 8 Sunday
Transport a must due to village location hours to be agreed.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality, and ensuring smooth operational flow.
Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise the bar and restaurant team, including bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff
* Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food production processes to ensure quality standards are met
* Manage daily operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards in accordance with food safety regulations
* Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
* Implement training programmes for staff to enhance skills in serving, hospitality, and food safety
* Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations within the establishment
* Organise staff rotas to optimise coverage during peak hours while maintaining cost efficiency
* Assist with menu planning, including beverage selection and culinary offerings in collaboration with chefs and kitchen personnel
* Handle customer complaints or concerns effectively to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction
* Promote a positive team environment fostering leadership and teamwork
Qualifications
* Proven supervising experience within a hospitality or restaurant setting
* Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
* Experience in managing teams within a restaurant or hotel environment
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
* Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on team management and development
* Previous experience as a barista or in bar management is advantageous
* Exceptional communication skills with a friendly yet professional demeanour
* Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or culinary arts are desirable
