This is not a 9‑5 role! Logistics is a 24/7 so expect some unsocial hours as you learn and develop.
About JAMA Logistics
Manchester‑based logistics operator specialising in:
* palletised freight
* dedicated transport
* warehousing
We operate around 14 vehicles and a 20,000ft² warehouse facility.
The Role
You’ll support and learn across:
* operational problem solving
* warehouse operations
Key Responsibilities
* assist with daily planning and routing
* support communication with drivers and customers
* learn operational systems and processes
* help resolve day‑to‑day operational issues
* support warehouse and transport coordination
* shadow the founder across different areas of the business
* gradually take ownership of operational responsibilities as you develop
What We’re Looking For
* willingness to learn and take initiative
* organised and proactive mindset
* problem‑solving ability
* positive attitude and strong work ethic
Preferred
* logistics, transport or warehouse experience
* confidence speaking with customers
* good IT and admin skillsambition to progress into leadership or management
