About The Role

Be the spark that shapes futures.

At LDC Care Co, we believe great care starts with great training. As a family-owned organisation with over 70 services across Kent, we’re proud to support adults with complex learning disabilities and mental health diagnoses to live fulfilling, independent lives. None of this is possible without our dedicated teams — and that’s where you come in.

We’re searching for a passionate and dynamic In-House Trainerwho can inspire, engage, and empower our workforce. This is not just about ticking boxes; it’s about creating meaningful learning experiences that give staff the confidence, skills, and knowledge to change lives every day.

About the Role

As our In-House Trainer, you’ll take ownership of our induction programme, giving every new starter the best possible beginning to their career with us. You’ll design and deliver training that brings our values to life, from safeguarding and medication to mental health and beyond.

You’ll make training memorable, relevant, and practical — ensuring our new recruits walk away not just informed, but motivated and ready to make a difference. Alongside this, you’ll support our Learning and Development Coordinator with apprenticeships and career pathways, helping to shape the future of our workforce.

This role will require travel between multiple across South-East Kent and a Driving Licence is essential.

What you’ll be doing

* Leading inspiring, interactive induction sessions — ensuring everyone can achieve the Care Certificate.
* Designing and delivering engaging training tailored to real-world care needs.
* Embedding CQC standards, legislation, and best practice into everything you teach.
* Building staff confidence and skills in areas such as safeguarding, autism, medication and reporting and mental health.
* Supporting career development pathways, including apprenticeships and qualifications.
* Monitoring training compliance and constantly evolving our programmes, ensuring the people we support are at the centre of learning.
* Championing a culture of learning, growth, and excellence across the organisation.

Why join us?

At LDC Care Co, your work will have a direct impact on the lives of both employees and the people we support. In return, we’ll offer you:

* A competitive salary of up to £33,000!
* 20 days’ annual leave + bank holidays.
* Blue Light Card benefits and cashback rewards.
* An excellent induction and commitment to your professional development.
* A supportive, values-driven environment where you can thrive.

About You

You’ll thrive in this role if you are:

* An experienced trainer within health and social care.
* Qualified with Level 3 AET (or PTLLS/CTLLS)
* A confident communicator who can engage any audience.
* Organised, adaptable, and excited by working in a growing organisation.
* Passionate about using training to unlock potential and improve lives.

A professional qualification in social care, nursing, or a related field is desirable, but above all, we’re looking for someone who can inspire, lead, and energise others through training.

About Us

Providing support to highly complex individuals is what we do best. At LDC Care Co we understand that providing the best person-centred support provides the best opportunities for achieving life goals and reaching personal milestones, and this has been a part of our ethos for the over 25 years.

With multiple CQC ratings of ‘Outstanding’ we are proud of our ability to provide high quality care to individuals who have struggled to maintain other mainstream placements or have spent time within secure settings, and reintegrate them back into the wider community to pursue social, personal, or vocational development opportunities.

Fancy a Coffee?

We want to get to know you! You may be wondering if you’re the right fit, or if we’re the right fit for you, but why not get in touch with us to find out! We’d love to meet you, even if it’s for a coffee to find out a little bit more from the people already here.

At LDC Care Co we pride ourselves on our value-based approach, so we are looking for individuals who are as passionate about providing exceptional levels of care and promoting independence as much as we are! This is your chance to make a real difference — not just in the training room, but across an entire organisation.

If you’re ready to inspire others, shape futures, and be at the heart of our learning culture, we’d love to hear from you.
