Nursery Practitioner Needed – Wallsend
We are currently recruiting a qualified Nursery Practitioner to work in a friendly and supportive nursery school in Wallsend. This is a long-term role starting at the end of January, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.
Location: Wallsend
Position: Nursery Practitioner
Hours: Full-time – shifts vary between 8:00–4:00, 8:30–4:30, 9:00–5:00
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £13.95–£14.50 per hour
About the Role:
* Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0–5 years
* Support children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
* Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
* Work as part of a supportive nursery school team to maintain high standards of care and education
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
What We’re Looking For:
* Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Early Years (or equivalent)
* Paediatric First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain one
* Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
* A caring, reliable, and enthusiastic approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
