Job summary: To provide cleaning and catering services as part of a team within the Trust, covering office, patient, and communal areas. To interact compassionately with patients and carers, who may have mental health conditions or learning disabilities. To participate in quality improvement activities and promote a positive image of people with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, Hotel Services, and the Trust. The candidate must have the right to work in the UK, as sponsorship is not available for this role.
Main duties of the job
We seek friendly, positive, organised, and motivated individuals to work as Bank Porter/Housekeeper in the Trust's Hotel Services Team. Responsibilities include maintaining cleaning and catering services, ensuring a clean, safe, and supportive environment for staff and patients. The role requires passion for patient care, teamwork, empathy, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The position is based at West Park Hospital, with shifts from 6:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, and 22:00-7:00, including weekends and bank holidays. Flexibility and reliability are essential, with experience in cleaning, chemical use, and equipment operation required. Catering experience and a customer service mindset are beneficial.
