I am looking for a Production Engineer to join my fantastic client on a permanent basis. As the Production Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the design, manufacturing, and testing of low fidelity models and manufacturing processes across our product portfolio.

Responsibilities:
1. Work with Technical leads to develop CAD/CAM models and drawings for parts and sub-assemblies.
2. Design, build, and characterize jigs and fixtures for testing products.
3. Build breadboards and development models; support test campaigns as required.
4. Create and write Manufacturing and Assembly Procedures (MAPs) for various manufacturing operations.
5. Review and approve engineering drawings as part of MAIT (Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration, and Testing) routines.
6. Support technical buyers with technical inputs and discussions with external suppliers during procurement.
7. Supervise manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality work and safety standards.
8. Diagnose design or production problems and provide recommendations to resolve them.
9. Review NCRs and provide technical inputs when requested by the Product Assurance Manager.
10. Stay updated on engineering and production advancements and share knowledge within the MAIT team.
11. Create production plans for current and upcoming projects.
12. Analyze production approaches and recommend improvements.
Essential Experience:
* Experience in production within a highly regulated industry, preferably space sector.
* Proficiency with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
* Thorough understanding of engineering drawing principles and metrology.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills; proficient with MS Office tools.
* Strong team player with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
* Proactive and innovative problem-solving skills, with the ability to present findings and solutions.
* Ability to plan and organize workload across multiple projects to meet deadlines.
