Job Title: Senior Finance Analyst

AXA Partners have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join our International Portfolio Reporting Team in Redhill. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact on our financial operations.
You'll support the team in managing the revenue and technical accounting of approximately 300 different contracts, with a specific focus on Travel insurance products sold worldwide. Our contracts are booked in many different currencies, and some operate through reinsurance programs and fronting agreements, the accounting of which forms a major part of the role scope.
At AXA Partners we embrace a Hybrid way of working, offering our people the flexibility to divide their working time between our Redhill office, and home working for up to 2 days per week as standard.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality insights and analyses to senior management. Your expertise will help drive informed decision-making while promoting process efficiencies within the team.
* Monthly premium reconciliation and claims rebilling, calculation of commissions, fronting fees and profit shares
* Posting of relevant corrections & provisions to PeopleSoft accounting ledger
* Generation of accruals and deferrals along with relevant audit lead schedules.
* Reinsurance accounting including preparation of cession statements.
* Produce & update management information packs to support business decision-making, liaising with stakeholders in eight distinct analytical regions based around the world.
* Prepare and submit balance sheet and P&L accounts to the group.
* Ensure the technical balance sheet reconciliations are accurately and regularly prepared.
* Assist in the preparation of budgets and rolling forecasts.
What You'll Bring
* ACCA / CIMA Finalist or qualified by experience.
* Previous experience in insurance or technical accounting is advantageous.
* Strong analytical skills and a passion for problem-solving.
* Positive attitude with a desire to progress within the organization.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A commercial mindset with the ability to think strategically.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
