Nursery Practitioner – Salisbury, Wiltshire
Are you looking for Nursery Practitioner jobs in Salisbury? We are recruiting dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioners to support nurseries and early years settings across Salisbury and the surrounding Wiltshire area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Early Years Practitioners, Nursery Nurses, Level 3 Childcare Practitioners, and childcare professionals seeking flexible agency work with excellent rates of pay and ongoing support.
The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing high-quality childcare and early years education within a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing
Planning and delivering engaging age-appropriate activities
Promoting learning through play in line with EYFS guidelines
Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are followed
Creating a positive environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential

Skills and Experience
We are looking for candidates who have:
A genuine passion for working with children
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience within a nursery, preschool, or early years setting
A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
The ability to plan engaging activities for children aged 0-5 years
A positive, reliable, and professional approach
A Level 3 Childcare Qualification or equivalent is desirable, although experienced childcare professionals are encouraged to apply.
