Connect are seeking an experienced Sales Manager for Air Traffic Systems to join and strengthen our client's existing team in Cramlington.
Our client is a well-established, prominent provider of systems and solutions for the Air Traffic Control (ATC) community, serving over 300 airports and communication centres in more than 50 countries across the globe.

A permanent position
Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30 - with an early Friday finish
A competitive salary of £40,000 to £50,000 per annum
The ability to increase earnings once a break-even point is metWorking as a Sales Manager you will be responsible for the promotion and sale of our client's products and services to the assigned territory of ATC/OPS market worldwide. With your duties including, but not limited to:
Liaise and develop successful customer relationships
Maintain long term customer relationships through regular visits and communications
Produce quotations and proposals within defined company guidelines using Standard Product documentation and prices
To liaise with Technical Sales Support on Proposals when available
Manage the administration of Support Contracts
Maintain effective office-based hub for sales and support effort
Prepare quotes and proposals within the company's guidelines
Manage the administration of Support and Maintenance contracts
Maintain relevant sales, quotation and customer databasesTo be successful within this role as a Sales Manager you will have a minimum of 5-year's experience within the Aviation industry. Combined with the following skills and traits:
Good telephone manner, with the ability to inspire customer confidence
Ability to communicate effectively verbally, grammatically and electronically
Technical knowledge of ATC operations and company products
A genuine interest in Aviation
Be commercially aware and sales driven (motivated)
Computer literate with MS Office applications
