This role is ideal for graduates considering future careers in Educational Psychology, Child Therapy, SEND support, Speech and Language Therapy, or becoming a SENDCO.
The school is looking for someone patient, resilient, and passionate about supporting children both academically and emotionally.
The Role:
* Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
* Working closely with children on a 1:1 and small-group basis
* Assisting pupils with emotional regulation and social development
* Supporting classroom engagement and behaviour strategies
* Working alongside teachers, SEND staff, and external professionals
* Helping create a positive and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold a degree in Child Psychology or a related field
* Have a genuine passion for working with children
* Be patient, empathetic, and resilient
* Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Be interested in progressing within education or child-focused services
* Previous experience supporting children is desirable but not essential
