Overview
Nightshift Manager role focused on leading overnight replenishment and store operations, prioritising deliveries, organising the warehouse and replenishing shelves while ensuring safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
Responsibilities
* Lead a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities and get involved to prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse and replenish shelves.
* Often run a full store operation on your own overnight, being responsible for the full shift and the safety and wellbeing of colleagues in store.
* Ensure standards are brilliant by morning so the store is ready to serve customers.
* Manage people, including performance and development, disciplinary matters and ensuring scheduling and pay are accurate.
* Comfortable with nightshift working and adaptable to the physical and mental impact of these shift patterns, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for the team.
* Experience in line management in a fast paced, operational environment.
* Demonstrate resilience to the mental and physical demands of working nights.
* Provide brilliant customer service and coach a team to do the same.
* Experience delivering and monitoring KPIs or other performance indicators.
* Manage disciplinary, performance or other employee relations issues.
* Lead operations and be comfortable working alone in the absence of more senior management.
* Embrace inclusivity and deliver excellent customer service while coaching colleagues to do the same.
* Experience leading a team in a fast paced, customer facing environment, motivating others, driving performance and keeping operations running smoothly.
* Operational leadership skills, taking responsibility for store operations in the absence of more senior managers.
* Proven success in meeting or exceeding KPIs such as sales, availability, customer satisfaction or colleague engagement.
* Managed employee relations issues including performance and absence management.
* Desirable: has worked night shifts in a high volume, operational environment and created a safe, supportive atmosphere for the team during out of hours trading.
