About the Company

We are a premier European data centre delivery partner, providing comprehensive turnkey solutions from our headquarters in Ireland to sites across the continent. Specialising in the full lifecycle of data centre development-from civil and structural design to mechanical and electrical installation and commissioning-we have established ourselves as the most trusted specialist in our sector.

The Role:

We are seeking a high-calibre Electrical Engineer to join our team in Sintra. You will be responsible for overseeing specialist electrical sub-contractors, ensuring that design, development, and installation phases are completed to the highest standards and within the agreed project programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

System Management: Oversee all works in alignment with our Integrated Management System (IMS) and rigorous quality standards.

Technical Coordination: Manage and review technical drawings and provide expert guidance to sub-contracted staff throughout the project lifecycle.

Team Leadership: Organise and delegate tasks to the technical team, ensuring that resource allocation meets project demands.

Site Safety & Compliance: Champion a culture of safety. You will ensure all sub-contractors adhere to Health & Safety obligations, perform weekly safety checks, and proactively suggest improvements to site working methods.

Documentation & Handover: Maintain meticulous document control, keep project logs up to date, and compile essential handover and system test packs.

Technical Troubleshooting: Identify potential issues early and implement effective corrective actions to keep the project on track.

About You

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, technically-minded engineer with a background in complex mechanical and electrical (M&E) contracting.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Academic Background: A degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Electrical Engineering is essential. HNC/HND qualifications are also highly desirable.

Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within an M&E contracting environment.

Sector Knowledge: Experience within the Data Centre or large-scale mission-critical infrastructure sector is a distinct advantage.

Core Skills: You must possess excellent organisational and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage time effectively under pressure.

Software: Professional proficiency in MS Office (specifically Word and Excel) is required.

Benefits & Career Development

High-Profile Projects: Gain experience on massive-scale, cutting-edge data centre developments.

Collaborative Environment: Work within a professional, supportive team that values collective success.

Career Path: We actively support professional development and offer clear routes for career progression.

Remuneration: A competitive salary and benefits package is on offer, reflective of your experience and the importance of this role
