Job Duties
(Include but not limited to):
1. Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner. Direct them to the appropriate room.
2. Perform necessary vital signs on patient (CNA only).
3. Check to make sure that patient history is complete (i.e., immunization records, allergy to medications, etc.) and update charts as needed
4. Makes patient calls as needed.
5. Complete any necessary documentation for patient's (i.e., school forms, medication forms).
6. Call hospitals to obtain any necessary results i.e. (lab and x-ray results).
7. Keep a clean, safe and organized work environment for patients and staff.
8. Attend any office meetings to stay up to date on changes in protocol and procedures.
9. Work as a team with clinical and front office staff for optimal patient care.
10. Other duties as assigned
Medical Assistant Requirements:
11. Education: High School Diploma
12. Experience: At least one year of experience
13. Licensure: Certification based on specific job description such as Phlebotomy certification may be possessed.
Certified Nursing Assistant Requirements:
14. Education: High school diploma
15. Experience: At least one year of experience as a CNA.
16. Licensure: Certified Nursing Aide certification and CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
17. At least one year experience as a CNA.
18. Excellent interpersonal skills.
19. Able to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
20. Experience working in a clinical setting is preferred.
