Here at Purovets we have a rare opportunity for a Clinical Director to join a progressive and collaborative team in the vibrant city of Birmingham. The role is on a 12-month fixed term contract with a view to potentially becoming a permanent role if desired.

Established in 1932, our client is a Primary Care, multi-site practice, focusing on small animals and pets. They have practices in Solihull, Bentley Heath and Acocks Green, a great location with great transport links and close to an airport!
You will be joining a well-established team with a great reputation who put emphasis on compassionate care and service. The team consists of 15 Vets, 25 RVNs, SVNs, and PCAs. Further studies are fully encouraged with 6 of their Vets currently studying towards a certificate including surgery, internal medicine, and exotics.
You will be offered a lot of support from their experienced veterinary surgeons to cover most disciplines, including a large exotics caseload, with appropriate equipment for those interested. Plus, a comprehensive range of orthopaedic and ophthalmic equipment could be available in the development of these disciplines.
The practice is state-of-the-art with up-to-date technology including ECG, Ultrasound, Digital Radiography, Dental Drill, an In-House laboratory and much more.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a leadership role, and the ability to demonstrate clear financial understanding. You will also demonstrate good clinical skill level, to be able to support and develop the clinical teams. This role will include both clinical and administration work, supported by the senior leadership team.
The Rota:
• Full time role - 12 month fixed term contract (potential to become permanent)
• 4 day working week
• 1:5 weekends in 7 (one full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and one separate full Saturday)
• No OOH
