We're looking for a dedicated Radiographer/Imaging Nurse to join our specialist team at Blaise Veterinary Referral Hospital in Longbridge. This is a 12-month maternity cover contract, working 23 hours per week across three set days (Tuesday–Thursday).
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art referral environment, supporting a wide range of hospital disciplines and referring practices by delivering high-quality multi-modality imaging services.
About the Role
In this role, you'll be fully involved in all aspects of imaging and patient care, including:
* Planning and providing imaging services across multiple modalities, including CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, radiography, and ultrasound
* Preparing patients for imaging procedures, sedation, or anaesthesia, including IV access and premedication
* Assisting with safe induction and monitoring of anaesthesia, and supporting recovery post-procedure
* Using advanced monitoring equipment and patient warming devices to ensure patient safety at all times
* Assisting clinicians and imagers with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including contrast and interventional services
* Maintaining imaging equipment and supporting hospital policies on safety and quality assurance
This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with our team of clinicians, nurses, and support staff, contributing to the highest standards of care for every patient.
