Nine Twenty are partnered with a well-established and innovative company operating within the manufacturing and engineering sector, known for delivering high-quality, industry-leading solutions to a diverse range of clients across the UK and beyond. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and continuous improvement, Our client is growing its commercial team and is looking for a Sales Administrative Assistant to join the business and provide critical support to the Sales & Marketing Director and wider sales function.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about supporting business operations and enhancing the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a key administrative support for the external sales team, ensuring timely completion of quotations, tasks, and follow-ups.

Maintain and update customer and prospect information within internal systems.

Assist with incoming communications, including calls, emails, and other sales-related correspondence.

Liaise between customers and the sales team to ensure fast, professional communication.

Collaborate with Customer Service to support the resolution of customer issues or complaints.

Prepare sales documentation, including presentations, proposals, contracts, and quotations.

Monitor outstanding actions and follow up with sales and marketing teams as needed.

Provide general administrative assistance across the sales team.

Support the Sales & Marketing Director with ongoing projects and initiatives.

Skills & Competencies:

Proven experience in an administrative or sales support role.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and approachable manner.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a sharp attention to detail.

Competency with Microsoft Office applications. Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Business Central is highly desirable.

Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines under pressure.

A team-oriented mindset with a proactive, solution-focused attitude.

Eagerness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement.
