Hours: 10 hours per week, 2 hours per day, 06:00am-08:00am or 3:50pm-5:50pm

Are you hardworking, reliable, and take pride in your work? We are looking for a dedicated Cleaner to join our friendly team. You will play a vital role in ensuring our students and staff have a clean, safe, and welcoming environment to learn and work in.
Key Responsibilities
●Cleaning areas (classrooms, hallways, toilets, and staff areas).
●Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and emptying bins.
●Ensuring cleaning supplies are stored safely and correctly.
●Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Site Manager.
●Following health and safety guidelines, including COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).
About You
●Reliable: You have the ability to work independently and as part of the team.
●Thorough: You have a keen eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness.
●Respectful: You understand the importance of working in a school environment.
●Experience: Previous cleaning experience is a positive, but not essential as full training will be provided.

This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement wef 1st April 2026 which brings pay rates up to £13.45 per hour (scp 2 - 5). This supplement will be reviewed thereafter annually in April. Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement.
