Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of Care Proceedings, child protection matters and complex childcare cases
Deliver clear and compassionate legal advice to clients during sensitive proceedings
Represent clients in court and liaise with local authorities, guardians and experts
Mentor junior solicitors and contribute to team development
Maintain strong client relationships with a professional and empathetic approach
Support the firm’s long-term strategy in childcare and public family law
Your Profile:
Qualified Childcare Solicitor with at least 4+ years' PQE
Experience handling complex public law children matters
Children Panel Accreditation is highly desirable but not essential
Strong understanding of legal aid procedures and child protection legislation
Excellent advocacy, negotiation and client care skills
Proactive, organised and capable of managing a busy caseload
