Environmental advisor

Job Description

Aureos is seeking an Environmental Advisor to support our growing Renewables department within our Energy business.


This role will support our Vanguard Renewables project, working with the client and other contractors on site to ensure full environmental protection of the site and adherence to client and legal requirements.


Primary tasks and duties


* Travel to sites as required to undertake site inspections
* Provide environmental advice and support to project teams as required
* Co-ordinate pre-construction environmental assessments (e.g. ecology surveys, archaeology surveys) and advise on the programming of works in relation to constraints observed
* Manage waste records used to populate Aureos and client decarbonisation tools
* Co-ordinate the acquisition of permits from environmental regulators (e.g. waste management licences for yards)
* Support project teams to discharge environmental planning conditions
* Conduct inspections of active work zones, and audits of key environmental documentation


Secondary tasks and duties

* Write key environmental documentation where required
* Support delivery of business wide sustainability targets
* Undertake/support investigations for environmental events on site
