Due to continued growth, we are looking to take on a SHEQ Advisor. You are likely to work 2 days at home and 3 days visiting site orgoing into the West Byfleet, Surrey or Diseworth, Derby office. As the SHEQ Advisor, your duties & responsibilities will be: Monitoring on-site compliance against company, client, and legislative requirements through operational assurance auditing. Engaging and coaching contractors to help drive a positive safety culture. Communicating on-site and ensuring clear and accurate communication on all health and safety-related matters. Ensuring delivery of legislative compliance and promotion of continuous improvement of safety performance. Investigating accidents and near misses andimplementing corrective actions to drive performance improvements. Fostering the development of SHEQ skills within operational line management. Ensuring consistent implementation of SHEQ standards across the contract. Support operational personnel to deliver their SHEQ responsibilities. Skills & Knowledge Requirement: Full UK driving licence. Willingness to travel throughout the UK. NEBOSH General Certificate / NCRQ Certificate or equivalent. Strong knowledge of the legislative requirements and best practices in Safety, Health, Environment and Quality. Knowledge regarding CDM 2015. NRSWA Supervisor preferred. Ability to conduct audits, inspections and recommend preventative action. Experience in a similar role with multi-site working. Experience, knowledge, and application of the utilities/construction industry. Sound knowledge of Microsoft I.T. programs. About The Company Why choose us?
