The Role As a D&T Teacher, you will be part of a well-equipped department featuring traditional workshops and digital manufacturing suites. You will deliver high-impact, practical lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to specialize in Product Design, Timbers, or Engineering. Key Responsibilities: Technical Instruction: Teaching students to safely and skillfully use a range of tools and machinery, from hand planes to laser cutters and 3D printers. Design Thinking: Guiding students through the iterative design process—from initial sketching and prototyping to final evaluation. CAD/CAM Integration: Utilizing industry-standard software (such as 2D Design, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360) to modernize student projects.
