Electrician Full Time (40 hours per week) Based in Norwich, however travel throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk will be required Starting Salary of 39,036 per annum, with opportunities to progress to 45,272 per annum, plus, Company Vehicle and Call out payments Permanent Contract About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Electrician within our reactive team. We are looking for a bright spark to ignite their potential in helping to maintain our homes and make a difference for our tenants. The works will be in and around Norwich and also throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk carrying out Void (Empty Home) electrical testing and repairs. The main duties for the role include: To work closely with the Local Delivery team in all aspects of the electrical repairs and maintenance service as required. Responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of Electrical Testing and related repairs. This is across responsive repairs and void properties. Provide support to the Planned Electrical Team from time-to-time covering installation and other planned works e.g. Aids and Adaptations / Kitchens Ensuring that the work is undertaken in a timely manner consistent with prescribed performance indicators advised. Manage tenant enquiries and respond in a professional manner reporting anything back to the relevant manager. The successful candidate will have the following: City and Guilds 5357 / City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent City and Guilds 2360 Part 1 and Part 2 or City and Guilds 2330 Level 2 and Level 3 As well as: AM2 (desirable) depending on when NVQ completed. City and Guilds or equivalent 2382 (18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations). City and Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent qualification. A Driving Licence as travel throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk will be required. Experience of working in Property Maintenance Good IT skills The successful candidate will be required to undertake a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and will join our on-call rota.
