Responsibilities
* Produce and develop the highest standard of food within required time and financial targets.
* Step into the Head Chef’s shoes when required, developing new initiatives to improve standards.
* Research innovative ideas and contribute to all areas of food production, from menu planning to delighting customers.
* Promote team spirit, company culture and adapt work pace to business needs.
* Gain valuable feedback to measure success, attend workshops and forums for continuous learning.
* Grow kitchen management skills from basic level with a commitment to improvement.
Qualifications
* Relevant experience and educated to C & G 706 1 & 2, NVQ or equivalent.
* Food Safety and Health and Safety certificates at level 2.
* Working knowledge of COSHH & HACCP.
* Two years’ experience working in a similar size operation.
* Experience supervising others.
