Quality Engineer opportunity available with a sub contract engineering company in Gloucester, GL3, paying c£40,000, working straight days
As a result of a healthy order book our client is looking for an additional Quality Engineer to join their team. Supporting customers across a broad range of industries such as aerospace and oil and gas to name but two, they have a built a reputation with their customers for providing high quality products.
As Quality Engineer for our client your role will involve the following:
* perform all 1st off inspections
* carry out First Article Inspection Reports
* have experience of using CMM alongside conventional measuring equipment
* carry out in-process inspection alongside final inspection
* liaise with customers with any issues that need resolving
* be responsible for quality assurance
* have a good understanding of aerospace procedures and quality issues
* have a general knowledge of common plating processes
* calibrate all measuring equipment
* use MRP system on a daily basis
* carry out all corrective actions
* organise all necessary paperwork for dispatch
