The Role
They are seeking an Audit Senior (ACA or ACCA qualified, with around 6 months - 1 year post qualification experience) to join their audit and accounts team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment, taking ownership of assignments from planning to completion while working closely with partners and managers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead small audit assignments from planning through to completion, including fieldwork and reporting.
2. Supervise and review work of junior team members on audit and accounts jobs.
3. Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies under FRS 102 and FRS 105.
4. Liaise directly with clients, ensuring strong communication and building lasting relationships.
5. Identify audit and accounting issues, propose solutions, and provide technical support where required.
6. Prepare or assist with corporation tax computations (desirable but not essential).
