We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Pastry Chef de Partie to become part of our Kitchen team at our state-of-the-art headquarters at Bicester, Oxfordshire.

Role Responsibilities:
1. Working with the Head Pastry Chef and kitchen team following recipe specifications.
2. Labeling and rotating stock clearly, including allergen information.
3. Ensuring that the food is of the highest possible standard.
4. Working in an organized manner and maintaining cleanliness; all areas should be clean and hygienic at all times.
5. Preparing, producing, and packing food on time.
6. Learning to use and care for kitchen equipment such as the ice cream pasteurizer and machine.
7. Assisting with stock management, including cleaning fridges, rotating stock, and stock counting.
8. Wearing the correct PPE for the working environment.
9. Having a flexible attitude towards work, including covering production, weddings, and outside catering events, with varied hours.
10. Being prepared to work away at events occasionally, offering opportunities to experience new locations. We cater for several international events.
11. Showing interest in food and learning, contributing ideas to menus enthusiastically.
12. Aligning with our mission to ‘be the best at what we do,’ which we expect from all employees.
13. Participating in the team professionally, proactively, and motivationally.
14. Loving what we do and contributing fresh ideas to maintain creativity and leadership in our field.
You must be:
* Passionate about great food with exceptional attention to detail.
* Able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
* Experienced in working with pastry in a restaurant or hold a pastry qualification.
* Having at least one year of experience as a pastry chef in a fresh food background.
Working Hours:
07:30 to 17:00, with some weekends and evenings during the event season.
