Job Overview:
The Smokehouse Chef is responsible for crafting and executing our signature smoked meats and barbecue dishes. This role requires a deep understanding of smoking techniques, a passion for flavour, and the ability to maintain high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
A smokehouse chef's responsibilities include:
* Cooking: Preparing and cooking smoked meats, such as brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and chicken
* Smoking: Monitoring and controlling the smoking process to achieve the desired flavour and texture
* Quality control: Ensuring food quality, presentation, and consistency
* Sanitation: Complying with all food safety and sanitation regulations
* Menu development: Assisting in menu development and testing new recipes
* Teamwork: Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
