Commercial Finance Business Partner – Celebro (Diageo Europe)

A unique and exciting opportunity to join Celebro, a newly created business unit within Diageo Europe, as Commercial Finance Business Partner.

Celebro will be the European hub for the development of Nurture Brands, leading the end-to-end marketing, distribution, and supply of small-scale brands in Diageo’s portfolio that have strong growth potential.

The initial core brands in the unit will be Don Papa and Ron Santiago de Cuba, with further brands to be added following a rigorous assessment of future growth opportunities.

As Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving Celebro’s growth ambition, acting as a key member of the Finance team and a trusted partner to senior stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering

1. Partner with the Celebro Leadership Team and commercial/marketing teams to shape and deliver growth ambitions.

2. Collaborate with customer teams to analyse performance (external landscape trends, channel and customer profitability, pricing and promotions) and develop gap-fill growth opportunities.

3. Support joint business plan evaluations with a P&L optimisation mindset.

4. Influence and guide customer teams, ensuring timely and well-informed decision-making.

5. Drive pre- and post-evaluation of TI and A&P investment decisions to maximise ROI.

Financial Reporting & Planning

6. Lead on core financial processes including Planning, O&R, FP&A, Reporting, and JV Board reporting.

7. Shape the performance management agenda, ensuring focus on growth while identifying risks and barriers.

8. Maintain and update strategic financial plans for Celebro brands.

9. Provide actionable insights into key performance drivers and opportunities to accelerate growth.

10. Evaluate brand investments, ensuring A&P/TI spend is optimised.

11. Support the Controls & Compliance agenda as required.

About You

17. Significant finance business partnering experience, with a track record of building excellent relationships. (Commercial finance/revenue growth managemet experience preferred)

18. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

19. Comfortable working with ambiguity, complexity, and in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

20. Commercially minded with strong numerical acumen and attention to detail.

21. Experience in finance change and/or project management.

22. Knowledge of Sage systems or supply finance experience is a plus.
