The practice has a 20+ years record of successfully training GP practice administration apprentices, who often gain full-scale employment afterward.
Three of our current apprentices will be finishing their training soon. This post is a replacement for those apprentice positions.
This role primarily involves working across Denaby, Mexborough, and Conisbrough, with potential duties at our Askern site.
It is important that candidates have their own transport or access to one for traveling between sites.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, keen, and dedicated individual with good time management skills.
The purpose of the role is to:
* Offer general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and visitors, either in person or via telephone.
* Assist and direct patients to appropriate services or healthcare professionals courteously, efficiently, and effectively.
* Undertake administrative duties to support the smooth running of the practice, including secretarial and clerical support to clinical staff and team members.
* Facilitate effective communication between patients, the primary healthcare team, secondary care, and other healthcare agencies.
Overseas applicants, please note this job is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
