Role Overview:
We are seeking an Endur Tech Engineer to work on Front and Mid Office components for our Power Trading team. This role involves working within the power sector, focusing on the trade and management of power generation assets, including wind, solar, batteries, and CCG power stations. The team supports systems that enable trading decisions, trade execution, and risk management, interfacing new systems and data feeds (national grid, power auctions, weather forecasts) into existing trading and risk management systems (ETRMs). The primary responsibility is implementing changes on the ETRM (Endur Openlink).
Responsibilities:
* Implement and extend features in OpenLink Endur.
* Work on Physical and Financial Power and Gas Markets.
* Lead as a BA independently and support other BAs.
* Engage across all trading floor areas, focusing on Front and Mid Office.
* Represent non-linear instruments in a Commodity/Energy Trading environment within Endur.
* Collaborate with Traders and Quant developers on option pricing models, including complex cross-commodity options.
* Configure Endur for Deal lifecycle, Confirmations, Settlement invoicing, and scheduling.
* Resolve problems creatively within change control processes.
* Understand Endur Reporting architecture and core modules like APM, TPM, DMS, Connex, and EOD workflows.
* Follow Endur deployment procedures, including CMM import/export and cloud DevOps.
* Work with business analysts and traders to elaborate requirements and implement solutions.
* Establish testing regimes to ensure solution quality.
* Collaborate within a hybrid team using Scrum methodology where applicable.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders up to senior executive level.
* Utilize analytical tools and methodologies effectively.
* Apply structured analytical skills.
* Experience with agile delivery methodologies.
* Knowledge of global power markets.
* Model complex contracts and power purchase agreements, including deal valuation and asset performance reporting.
* Optimize power assets and model power tolling agreements.
