The successful candidate will be supported to develop skills within vascular services, including post-amputation care. This role involves working across medical, cardiology, haematology, surgical, critical care, and front door services, with opportunities for weekend work. The role offers a comprehensive understanding of the vascular and surgical patient journey, from emergency admission to transition home.
Main duties include working holistically across professional boundaries, service development, and collaboration with professionals within the hospital and community. For full duties, see the attached job description.
To be successful, you should have:
* Experience as an occupational therapist
* Willingness to participate in 7-day rota work
* Ability to drive and hold a clean driver’s license
We consider both full-time and part-time applicants. The base location is Royal Bournemouth Hospital. Interview date is to be confirmed.
Our values as #TeamUHD underpin our approach to patient care and teamwork. UHD is investing in services following the merger and the New Hospital Programme, which may involve temporary or permanent site changes. Interviewers will be happy to answer questions at interview.
