We have an exciting opportunity for a Paint Shop Supervisor to join our busy Paint Shop team, leading the painters and preppers as they deliver ultra-high-quality finishing work for some of the world’s most exclusive car manufacturers. Full in-house training is provided with the chance of progression for the right candidate.

We are partners on premium, low-volume programmes for luxury global automotive brands such as Mercedes-AMG, McLaren, Ford GT, Aston Martin, Pininfarina, Gordon Murray and many more on such vehicles as, amongst others, the Mercedes AMG-ONE, Pininfarina’s Battista and Aston Martin’s Valkyrie Pro.
We deliver all aspects of design, engineering, testing and manufacture from a single facility. This vertical integration represents considerable supply chain benefits to our customers and a broad working environment for our teams.
In addition we deliver full vehicle development, including chassis and powertrain, to high net‑worth heritage racers via our heritage racing division, ADP Classic Racing. We restore and rebuild high‑end classic racing cars, prepare drivers, manage a programme of touring and racing, and provide full event support.
Based at our Witham facility:
* Supervise daily operations of the paint shop, ensuring all components are prepared, painted, and finished to high-quality
* Lead, train, and support a team of painters, prep technicians, and apprentices
* Inspect work at each stage (prep, masking, spraying, finishing) to ensure consistency and quality control
* Ensure all work is completed within agreed timeframes and production targets
Health, Safety & Compliance
* Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and safe handling of paints and chemicals
* Monitor spray booth conditions, ventilation systems, and equipment to ensure safe working environments
* Ensure compliance with environmental standards and waste disposal regulations
Quality Control
* Review completed paintwork for defects such as runs, orange peel, or colour mismatches
* Handle rework processes and implement corrective actions where needed
Workflow & Productivity
* Schedule jobs and allocate tasks to maximise efficiency and booth space
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow
* Monitor stock levels of paints, materials, and consumables and place orders when necessary
* Support management in meetings both face to face and Teams
* Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development
* Promote a positive, productive, and accountable team culture
* Manage employee attendance, scheduling, and liaising with the HR business partner
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
* 5 + years working as a Paint Sprayer
* Previous experience running a team would be preferable
* Ability to understand and follow instructions and technical data sheets
* Possessing a flexible approach adaptable to changing requirements at short notice.
* Maintain a professional, accountable, proactive, and helpful attitude at all times.

Up to. £49,920 per annum subject to skills and industry experience
