Occupational Therapy Assistant (Band 4)
Future Steps is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our innovative, multidisciplinary team. In this part-time role, you'll support the delivery of therapy programmes, virtual school visits, and ICT assessments helping to improve the lives of children, young people, and adults in our state-of-the-art clinic.
Hours: 18.75 hours per week (2 days, we can be flexible on the working day)
Salary: £24,937 per annum (pro-rata)
Key Responsibilities:
* Support setup and maintenance of therapy spaces
* Assist with therapy sessions and group interventions
* Help deliver virtual school visits and therapy programmes
* Carry out ICT assessments in clinic and community settings
* Create therapy resources and manage equipment
* Greet and support clients, including those with complex needs
* Maintain accurate and confidential records
What We're Looking For:
* Understanding of occupational therapy and child development
* Experience in schools, nurseries, or children's services is a plus
* Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills
* Confident and compassionate when working with clients of all ages
