Job Title: Category Regional Planner
Location: Hybrid (1 day per week in Paddington Office)
Remuneration: £22.00 per hour
Contract Details: Temporary, Full-time, with an end date of June 30, 2026. Chance for extension.
Responsibilities:
Lead in-region price match monitoring and execution to ensure competitive pricing and mitigate revenue risk.
Own and streamline the process for price match requests, establishing clear ownership and rapid responses.
Manage promotional inputs across channels, overseeing approvals and tactical execution for timely promotional launches.
Oversee product onboarding and offboarding, including catalogue management, SKU swaps, and end-of-life processes for documentation and efficiency.
Collaborate with Finance to compile and submit category forecasts for regular CFO reviews and budgeting cycles.
Drive demand signal management for product launches and existing items within Integrated Business Planning (IBP), ensuring accurate inventory forecasting.
Maintain and update financial outlooks and budgets for leadership, providing weekly insights and direct store representation.
Monitor inventory alerts, ensuring timely actions on low stock and liaising with supply chain operations for alignment.
Provide metadata and planning inputs for holiday and launch events, supporting tracking and decision-making.
Act as a key contact for online stores, representing gaming interests and aligning on activities while providing product information.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the Online Stores community, building credibility to influence key priorities.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in category management, merchandising, or retail operations, ideally in consumer electronics or gaming.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify gaps and drive process improvements.
Experience with pricing strategy, promotions, and familiarity with catalog management tools (e.g., SWAT, Castle SKU Management).
Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional relationships and drive accountability across teams.
Excellent communication and organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Experience in demand planning, inventory management, and financial reporting is highly desirable.
