Responsibilities
As an Optical Manager you will:
- Oversee and manage the entire operation, ensuring high‑quality patient service.
- Lead a team of Optometrists and Optical Assistants, coaching and developing staff.
- Maintain compliance with processes and procedures.
- Review sales forecasting and department targets.
- Handle customer queries and ensure the department is well equipped.
- Manage clinic operations and shop floor processes.
Qualifications
- A fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC.
- On track to meet statutory CPD points requirements.
- Proven leadership skills in a fast‑paced optics environment.
- Strong coaching abilities.
- Excellent customer and patient care skills.
- Organised, able to manage time effectively.
- Driven and ambitious to meet departmental targets.
