Job Description

Veterinary Business Manager – FTC 18 months. Field based with territory covering Liverpool, Chester, Warrington, Southport, and Owestry. Base salary £38,000-£40,000 plus personal and company performance bonus up to 20%. Company car provided. Opportunity to engage with pet professionals and enthusiasts at 2-3 key industry events per year (some weekend work involved).

Role overview: Responsible for delivering territory sales growth and securing clinical recommendations of Royal Canin products in line with the veterinary pillar strategy.


What are we looking for?

* Sales Enthusiasm: Proven sales experience or a strong desire to learn and achieve.
* Nutritional Savvy: Confidence in understanding and presenting nutritional information.
* Skills: Strong presentation, communication, and IT skills (proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to support sales analysis and territory management.
* Driver's License: Clean driving record.
* Direct Experience: In related companies or working within the veterinary industry preferable.


Key Responsibilities

* Ignite Growth: Achieve sales goals by leveraging strong selling skills to meet veterinary clinics’ needs.
* Build Relationships: Develop and nurture partnerships with key clinic personnel, identifying opportunities to recommend premium therapeutic diets.
* Educate: Provide nutrition knowledge to veterinary staff and utilise available training tools.
* Collaborate & Innovate: Work with your team and share customer insights to shape strategies benefiting clinics and pet owners.
* Engage & Educate: Represent at trade shows and conferences, delivering training on nutritional benefits to support clinics.
* Stay Organized: Manage weekly reporting and activity logs, including pre-call planning and delivery of sales coverage objectives (visit frequency and level of service).
