Group Recruitment Partner - Hiring top talent for one of the UK’s leading Insurance Brokers
JMG Group is a Private Equity backed insurance broking group based in Guiseley, West Yorkshire with strong regional office representation around the UK. The opportunity
We have a brand-new opportunity for a Group Acturis Support Partner to join our growing team. Reporting to the Broking Systems Manager, this role will provide support to Acturis users to resolve day-to-day queries ensuring a consistent use of the system throughout the group. This key role will also provide systems integration support to our newly acquired and existing broker businesses.
It is essential that the role holder can work both with direction and on their own initiative, managing their own workload to achieve tight deadlines.
The role holder should have the ability to think commercially, appreciate and consider wider implications when recommending change and consider how any changes can be positively communicated across the business.
Knowledge & Skills Required
The role-holder will:
* be articulate and confident, with excellent organisational, interpersonal skills and able to effectively communicate with all levels of seniority within the group;
* have an interest in assuring the quality of client outcomes;
* have experience using the Acturis system (an understanding of Configuration, e-trade and accounting is an advantage but not a requirement);
* have professional and technical skills gained from within an insurance broking environment or understand the basics of insurance broking (not essential but an advantage);
* have the ability to get buy-in from others and work collaboratively to support colleagues;
* have excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask;
* be emotionally astute;
* have a good understanding of change management;
* be numerate, fully IT literate and comfortable with data and analytics;
* have good attention to detail and the ability to work to key designated timescales.
General Requirements
* Maintain an understanding of the regulatory environment which has an impact and cross over with how we use Acturis.
* Maintain awareness of all risk-related issues and ensure compliance with the group’s policies and procedures.
* Maintain effective relationships with all businesses within the group and third-party support.
* Engender a positive and professional working environment.
Key Performance Indicators
* Responsibility for day-to-day queries relating to Acturis, demonstrating a strong “can do attitude”.
* Ability to recognise efficiencies which need addressing within the Acturis platform which will provide business benefits.
* Look for solutions to challenges presented.
* Demonstrable ability to build strong and effective working relationships with other stakeholders in the business and third-party support.
* Adoption of a pragmatic, commercial and business focused approach.
* Completes all work to a good standard and within agreed timescales.
