Overview
Samba TV seeks a proactive, detail-oriented HR Generalist to join the People Operations and Total Rewards Team. This full-time role is located in London, UK and covers Western Europe. The ideal candidate will support various human resources functions including onboarding and off-boarding, total rewards, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and HR policy implementation. The role also assists the director with analytics, metrics, and dashboards. A strong understanding of European labor law and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, international environment are required.
What You’ll Do
* Manage all facets of HR for Western Europe; provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees and managers
* Administer HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labor laws and company guidelines; administer total rewards programs for designated countries; collaborate with TPA as appropriate
* Handle employee documentation, contracts, amendments, and HRIS data entry/reporting
* Support performance management processes, including annual reviews and development plans, in close collaboration with HRBPs
* Handle onboarding and offboarding of employees
* Promote a positive work environment and assist in employee engagement activities
* Handle payroll preparation by providing relevant data (e.g., absences, bonuses, leaves) to TPA
* Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation is up to date and accurate
* Support internal HR projects and ensure alignment with organizational goals
* Conduct stay interviews and analyze exit data to provide HR leaders with insights for improving the employee experience
* Handle benefits and leaves alongside HRBPs for international employees
* Manage visa, immigration, and relocation locally under People Ops guidance
* Support the director with analytics, reporting, and HR dashboards
Who You Are
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
* 5-7 years of experience in a similar HR Generalist or HR Officer role
* Strong knowledge of European labor law and HR compliance, particularly UK
* Ability to partner closely with the HRBP team
* Experience with HR systems and Google Workspace
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Fluency in English (spoken and written)
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a high level of confidentiality
* Problem-solving mindset and strong organizational skills
