Band 6 Capsule Endoscopy Nurse - Hybrid Clinics We are currently supporting a large elective diagnostic service seeking experienced Capsule Endoscopy Nurses (Band 6) to join a 3-month elective care project delivering specialist gastrointestinal diagnostics. This is a hybrid role, combining remote patient pre-assessments with onsite capsule clinics, offering a structured clinic environment and excellent day rates. Role Overview Position: Band 6 Capsule Endoscopy Nurse Contract Length: 3 Months Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing Start Dates Working Days: Monday & Wednesday Hours: 09:00 - 18:00 (1 hour unpaid lunch) Rate: £320-£350 per day Clinic Type: Capsule Endoscopy Key Responsibilities Conduct remote patient pre-assessment calls Assess patients against CCE inclusion/exclusion criteria Explain the Capsule Endoscopy procedure and answer patient questions Administer capsule devices during onsite clinics Manage patient pathways and book follow-up appointments Requirements Registered Nurse - Band 6 equivalent Minimum 2 years Capsule Endoscopy experience Confident delivering patient assessments and capsule administration Strong patient communication skills Clinic Structure Approx. 8 patients per day Structured elective clinics Virtual training provided Why Apply?
