Job Overview
Health and Safety Officer role is essential for ensuring that all fire safety regulations and standards are met within the properties, blocks and hostels we operate. This position involves reviewing Fire Risk Assessments for each building, and working with the owners to resolve and complete any recommendations listed on the Fire Risk Assessment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fire safety protocols and the ability to build effective compliance strategies.

As a Health and Safety Officer, you'll be responsible for:
* Conduct thorough assessments of current fire safety systems and procedures for each site based on the FRA.
* Develop and implement fire compliance strategies in accordance with local regulations and best practices.
* Collaborate with various departments to ensure that fire safety measures are integrated into all operational processes.
* Design and build fire safety systems that meet regulatory requirements while enhancing overall safety.
* Maintain accurate records of compliance checks, inspections, and any incidents related to fire safety.
* Provide training and guidance to staff on fire safety practices and emergency procedures.
* Stay updated on changes in fire safety legislation and ensure the organisation's policies reflect these changes.
