Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk Location: Redditch (On-site) Hours: 28 hours per week (09:00 – 16:00) Contract: Permanent
The Role We are recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join a stable, family-run business in Redditch. You will be supporting a busy Finance team, taking full ownership of the purchase ledger process to ensure suppliers are paid correctly and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
* Full Ledger Control: Managing the end-to-end Accounts Payable function.
* Processing: Inputting invoices, matching to Purchase Orders (PO) and Goods Received Notes (GRN).
* Banking: Verifying supplier bank details and setting up new accounts on the system.
* Reconciliations: Performing complex supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
* Month-End: Assisting the Financial Controller with accruals and payment runs.
* Systems: Utilizing Sage 50, Intact, and Excel daily.
About You: To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience in a dedicated Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable position.
* You are confident with Microsoft Excel (able to manage data for reconciliations).
* You have experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage 50, Xero, or ERP systems).
* You are organised, accurate, and take pride in a tidy ledger.
