Overview
Automotive manufacturing company located in Edinburgh, IN, is searching for a Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor. Those without Supervisory experience are encouraged to apply. 2nd Shift: 4:30 pm-1:30 am. 50k-63 k DOE.
Responsibilities
1. Ensuring that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated.
2. Strategically creating daily maintenance schedules to make sure that the maintenance dept. is always fully staffed.
3. Communicating directly with the operations department to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas.
4. Assisting with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions.
5. Conducting maintenance employee performance reviews to determine competency, knowledge, and qualifications.
6. Monitoring the operation of plant equipment and systems.
7. Reviewing the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
8. Maintaining and repairing maintenance manufacturing equipment.
9. Tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment within ERP.
10. Preparing maintenance reports, analyzing maintenance data, and making recommendations for improvements.
11. Communicating regularly with all maintenance technicians, both individually and as a group, to ensure good two-way communication concerning maintenance issues.
12. Initiating and carrying out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
13. Tracking, analyzing, and improving key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, schedule compliance, etc.
14. Maintaining safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
15. Directing, maintaining, and enforcing the safety program for the maintenance department; reviews safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all maintenance technicians.

Requirements
1. Minimum of 3 years maintenance supervisor experience at a fast-paced, high-volume producing, 24/7 manufacturing plant.
2. At least 3 years of experience in electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair of automated assembly equipment.
3. Strong electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge.
4. Experience with industrial control circuits – PLC, control relays, ladder logic, multi-meters, etc.
5. Able to read and interpret hydraulic schematics, blueprints, mechanical and electrical diagrams.
6. Omron and Mitsubishi PLC Controllers a plus
