Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £130 - £150 Per day Job Duties: Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher Follow lesson plans provided and ensure continuity in learning Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress and behaviour Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Prior experience in teaching or working with children is preferred Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles Effective classroom management skills Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) Experience in working as a supply teacher Working Conditions: Work in various schools within the designated area Full-time hours with potential for additional assignments Interact with students, parents, and school staff on a daily basis All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
