We welcome applications from individuals wishing to become an Apprentice and gain experience in the NHS. You will develop new skills and knowledge whilst working with an established team gaining valuable work experience and a recognised apprenticeship qualification.
You will be enrolled with a local education provider and will be required to complete your Level 2 Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship Standard qualification within the duration of the placement.
We are very proud of our Apprentice success rates, with 92% of Apprentices successfully obtaining a substantive post within the Trust at the end of their Apprenticeship contract, and 98% of Apprentices having further plans in place following their Apprenticeship e.g. going on to further education, joining the NNUH staff bank or obtaining employment at another organisation.
Full time: 37.5 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Radiology Department at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) and Cromer District Hospital for an Apprentice Radiology Department Assistant.
The Radiology department sits within the Diagnostic and Clinical Support Services division and provides diagnostic imaging and therapeutic treatments across a range of specialties across the Trust.
The role is patient focused so being able to assist patients in all modalities is required, showing a real empathy to patients who are unwell or distressed.
The post holder will work with all members of the clinical team within a multi-disciplinary framework. The post holder will contribute to the provision of a high standard of care for patients and to carry out some duties unaided, in accordance with Trust/Directorate policy, at the discretion of qualified staff. Support and help all members of the clinical team in service delivery.
