We are currently recruiting for a Casual Food & Beverage Assistant at Brandshatch Place Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.
Located in Kent, Brandshatch Place Hotel & Spa is one of the most renowned country house spa hotels in the area. Nestled within 12 acres of parkland and gardens, it offers a boutique, home-away-from-home experience. Its convenient location provides the best of both worlds, whether visiting for business or leisure.
* The role of a Food and Beverage Assistant involves preparing food and beverage service areas to Hand Picked Hotels standards, ensuring high standards of presentation are maintained.
* You should have a good knowledge of food menu items and availability, including main ingredients, allergens, and preparation styles.
* You will offer accurate and enticing product descriptions with recommendations based on guest preferences.
* Working enthusiastically alongside team members to achieve departmental goals.
* You should maintain a basic knowledge of the wine list and stock availability.
* Understand the basic principles of food and wine matching, different grape varieties, and predominant flavors.
* Most importantly, we want you to be inspired, have fun, and enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team.
About You
* You should have current knowledge and experience of food and beverage service within a quality-driven hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
* You will be enthusiastic and willing to take on new responsibilities.
* A flexible approach to assist in different hotel areas as needed.
* High emotional intelligence to anticipate guest needs and deliver a memorable experience.
* You should be able to deliver our guest experience standards, going above and beyond to ensure guests have a high-quality, personalized, and memorable experience that encourages repeat visits.
We offer a competitive salary of £13.82 per hour, plus a share of service charge.
