Who We Need
Our College has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, innovative and dynamic leader to join the Curriculum Leadership Team at its flagship City Hub campus, as Curriculum Manager for Health and Social Care. The Faculty Area covers a wide breadth of curriculum levels from pre‑16 and entry level through to adult provision and Higher Education to 1,000 students. We are looking for someone who has proven people‑management experience in inspiring a large curriculum team in a dynamic educational setting alongside the interim Head of Faculty. You are confident in applying your skills and knowledge to providing high quality teaching, learning and assessment for a diverse range of students. As part of this role, you will support the Curriculum Leadership team to provide outstanding value‑driven leadership in all aspects of the development, management, and delivery of a fast‑paced, customer‑facing curriculum area.
What You’ll Bring
A key focus of this role will be driving the quality of the provision and the curriculum offer to meet the needs of our students, employers, and stakeholders. Developing students’ opportunities for progression and readiness for employment will also be a critical factor. The successful candidate will liaise across other faculty areas; support services; admissions; English and maths and pastoral services to support the learner experience.
You are an experienced people manager who creates a stable and collaborative work culture. This role is central to positively engaging colleagues to work towards outstanding outcomes for our students. If you can demonstrate your ability to drive improvements in teaching and learning, resulting in good and better outcomes for students; lead curriculum innovations; and you have strong people‑management and line‑management skills, then we look forward to receiving your application.
