What You'll Be Doing: As a Library Assistant, you'll support the delivery of a high-quality library and information service. This includes: Assisting customers with accessing digital resources and information. Supporting in the planning and delivery of events (e.g. author events, class visits Engaging with customers to promote reading for pleasure You will be appointed to a library base(s), but there will be an expectation that you will work at other libraries as required. This will last about 1hr and involve: A meeting with a manager Tour of the library and explanation of duties Work related short assessments Part 2 - All applicants attending the assessment day will be invited for interview.
