Electronics Engineer | Witney | £46,000pa plus c£8k bonus & bens: An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electronics Engineer to join a well-established specialist manufacturer in the Witney area. With growth plans to scale their £100m turnover business to over £200m over the next 5 years, this role is a key component to ensure that their targets are met by project engineering a range of exciting R&D electronics product development. The Electronics Engineer will form part of a small team responsible for the design and delivery of electronic sub-systems that form an integral part of our clients existing product range but also be instrumental in new products in the future. You will deliver final designs including schematics, Gerber files, bills of materials, test procedures etc, the design work. will be done using external sub-contract resources. The primary job function of the Electronics Engineer is to manage those external resources to ensure that the project objectives are met, including functionality, timescales and quality. The successful Electronics Engineer will need the following experience and skills: Graduate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline Design lead for multiple electronics products that have been manufactured in volume Creation of formal project documents including functional specifications and test plans, to be implemented by other people Electronics design, both analogue and digital System-level design of hardware and software through written specifications Design for Manufacture of electronics assemblies Desirable: Software engineering Electronics manufacturing Project management Printed circuit board layout Automated test systems Document control systems, change management Management of global supply chains and partners Our client offers a competitive salary, bonus worth circa £5k, 25 days annual leave, Employer matched pension scheme, Death in Service scheme, Training & Development, Employee discounts platform (Perkbox), ‘WeCare’ well-being programme, Cycle-to-work scheme.
