My client, a well-respected and long-established membership organisation in the lifestyle and travel sector, is seeking a proactive Technical Product Executive to join their expanding Insurance & Financial Services department. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a varied and rewarding role that blends product support, research, analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
Purpose of the Role
This role will provide technical and administrative product support within a regulated environment, focused on insurance and financial services. You will conduct competitor and customer research, track member feedback, analyse trends, and assist in the development and enhancement of products. You’ll also be involved in project delivery and help ensure an excellent member experience through the continuous improvement of processes and communications.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for technical product queries from internal teams and stakeholders, resolving or escalating as appropriate.
* Conduct competitor analysis and market research, producing actionable insights and clear recommendations.
* Monitor member feedback and query trends to identify areas for improvement in products, communications, or service delivery.
* Support the development and delivery of internal projects and workstreams across departments.
* Provide administrative support to product managers, including coordination of meetings, preparing presentations, managing action logs and following up on progress.
* Undertake customer screening activities for specific insurance products and analyse data trends to support improvements.
* Help maintain compliance and governance by ensuring product documents and customer communications are accurate, accessible, and version controlled.
* Assist the claims and complaints team with customer correspondence and data updates.
* Represent the organisation at member-facing events and exhibitions, including occasional weekend work.
* Ensure all team processes, procedures, and guides are fully documented and reviewed regularly.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry requirements and complete at least 15 hours of CPD per calendar year.
Candidate Profile
Essential Skills & Experience
* Solid understanding of financial services products and the regulatory landscape, ideally including travel or breakdown insurance.
* Experience in customer and competitor research, with the ability to analyse and present findings effectively.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to draw insights from data across multiple sources.
* Previous experience handling customer queries using a range of communication methods.
* Awareness of FCA compliance requirements and the importance of governance in product delivery.
* Confident using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
