Job Description Job title: IBA Technician Salary: £45,000 Location: London PURPOSE OF ROLE We are currently recruiting for a leading independent insurance intermediary providing specialist insurance solutions across a range of sectors. As an IBA Technician you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between multiple departments, ensuring smooth financial processing and resolving invoicing queries efficiently. This role will be instrumental in enhancing communication between their Service Delivery Team, Finance Team and Business Operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Act as the first point of contact for invoicing and payment queries across different teams Collaborate closely with the service delivery team, finance, and business teams to ensure accurate and timely processing Oversee and facilitate the resolution of complex invoicing issues, particularly those involving part payments Work with managing agents to clarify and streamline payment and invoice discrepancies Ensure all invoicing records and payment tracking are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with internal standards Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS Previous experience in an IBA Technician, Accounts, or Finance Administration role within the insurance industry is preferred Strong understanding of invoice processing, reconciliations, and part payments Ability to investigate and resolve complex queries efficiently Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently across multiple departments Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively Comfortable working in a cross-functional role, coordinating with international teams If you have the relevant experience or know someone that does please contact us now on 07458 162 849 or email us at admin@lawesgroup.co.uk
